staying clean, also about spiritual hygiene and
how important it is to pray often.

Moses: a blues ballad sung by Ethan. God had a
purpose for Moses, and a purpose for you.

Try to Multiply: Try to simplify, as you
strategize, take it easy, multiply. This song is
about the importance of learning your
multiplication tables.

Ig Pay: Try getting through this song without
laughing.  It's about a pig, in pig-latin.

Paragraph is a dixieland jazz foot tapper that
will have you whistling along in no time.  The
song is about how to write a paragraph.

Gifts is a song about how God gives everyone
different spiritual gifts to advance His Kingdom!
The music is surreal and the vocal line rounds
in echo.

Wade in the Water: A traditional spiritual,
sung by Hailie. About how God parted the Red
Sea.

Intervals: An interval can step, an interval
can leap, an interval can stay on the same note,
"unison". It's a measurement between notes in
music.

Metrics Blues: A blues song about the metrics
system. Features 13 yr old Ryan on drums.

O Dictionary is a tropical island Fourth
Grader's ode to the dictionary.  "O, your entry
words, the entire language from Aardvark to
Zoo...O, your pronunciations, there isn't a word
too difficult for you..." "Because of you I speak
with confidence, you are the one that keeps me
making sense..."

President Tango: A very fun tango that lists
all the 43 U.S. Presidents, in order.

Get Fit is a bluegrass finger picking song about
the importance of physical fitness.

Molly Measures is a song in rock style written
to help us learn and remember unit measures.  
How many pints in a quart? How many quarts
in a gallon?  The answer is here.

Hatchin' Bird is a 40's era swing jazz song
about a baby bird waiting to be hatched... from
his perspective.  

I Left My Big Yellow Dog in Topeka: This one
is a favorite.  It's done in the style of a Johnny
Cash song, and it's about his dog that runs all
over town, because he was left in Topeka.  I said
Topeka, not the  other state capitals. This song
lists the US State Capitals in alphabetical order.
A great way to learn them.  By the way, he
didn't mean to leave the poor dog there.

Two Things: My favorite, My fourth grade
daughter Elyssa sings with me. This song is on a
passage in Proverbs 30.
The Octopus is a silly song about the octopus
having eight arms. Imagine what you would
do if you had eight arms. "I'd eat eight suckers,
from red to green to brown. I'd push eight
buttons on an elevator going down." The song
also is a counting song encouraging the child to
count to 8 using the scale steps, and then by
two's to sixteen.

Music Alphabet: ABCDEFGA is the music
alphabet. There are only seven letters in it.
You never hear a note named a P or a Q. If
someone sang an R, I wouldn't know what to do!
This is a beautiful guitar ballad in A minor

You Are What You Eat: What a terrific
shuffle about learning to eat healthy.  "If you
are what you eat, then you'd better think
twice. Don't eat a dirty sock or a pair of dancing
mice. If you are what you eat and you eat what
you should, then it won't be long 'til you're
feeling good. " Also  about the food groups.
Protein, dairy and glutens.

Let's Make a Sentence is about building
sentences.

Fish Face is what you can make if you feel like
being silly. Fish are scaly and swim in schools.
Children will sing along with this one and
laugh out loud.

Neighbor Polka: It takes time to be a good
neighbor. Stop and say hello to Mr. Flynn,
who's "working in his yard again."

January Through December teaches the
months of the year. Also sung in
Spanish. A great one to learn and sing along
with that will help your child learn the months
of the year.

Run is a song to accompany a fun game.

Creation Song: A fun shuffle with a serious
message about how God created everything, by
His hand.

Numbers Greater and Less is a tongue
twister with a greater and less lesson
integrated in the lyrics. And some tasty guitar
and drums that make this song extra fun to
sing.

Uncle Jack is a neat song about counting in
Roman numerals.

Slipping, Sliding: This jazz trio with a taste of
slipping, sliding piano improv mixed with the
vocal jazz solo sung by Ryan Oostdyk, age 11.
Most of the intervals in the melody are
"seconds".

Proverbs 19:20: Two guitars, a violin make
up this beautiful ballad about what it says in
Proverbs 19:20.

Rest: When you're tired, rest. In music, being
quiet is called a "rest"

The Letter Song is a tropical calypso style
song about how putting two consonants in a
row can change the meaning of the word. "If
you are saying a word, and its 'sack', just add
an 'h' and the word becomes 'shack".

God of the Planets: a song about how God
made the planets. The scale used in this song is
a whole tone scale.

Don't Be Shlumpy:  Yes, "shlumpy" is a made
up word that fits so well. Being shlumpy will
only make you grumpy. This is a song in a
swing jazz piano trio ballad. The song is about
how one should remain alert and not slouch.

Preposition - Look before a noun to see if any
of the words fit... This is a reggae song.
